Need to “raise the bar” on your carpet sweeping?

Want your vacuum to clean your carpets better? Raise the bar. Raising your height adjustment may be the fix your looking for. The bottom plate of the vacuum should rest against the top of the pile of the carpet when tilted back. Setting the plate lower will decrease airflow and will actually make it harder to push. Increased airflow will pull the deep down dirt out of the carpet while the brush gently agitates the top to help with the process.
